| Our inquiry learning for Term 2 is about changes from the past to the present. We have started the unit by looking at toys from the present and sharing our favourite toys. |

| Today the children brought in their toys from home to share with the class. The children were very excited to share and explain what they liked about them. |

| They looked at all the different ways they could sort and group their toys. |

One
group of children noticed the toys were made from different materials, like
plastic and metal. They sorted their toys by the type of material they were made
of. Another group noticed some toys had faces, so grouped their toys into faces
and no faces.
