We have started by learning about dynamics. In music
the word dynamics refers to the volume of the sound. The two basic dynamics indications
in music are piano, meaning “softly” or “quietly” and Forte, meaning “strong”
or “loudly”.

| We learnt about reading music and following the beat. |

| Jo showed us some different kinds of instruments. We looked at the Oboe and the Clarinet. |

| We have started the Kia Kaha programme. The Kia Kaha programme enables students to develop strategies for respectful relationships where bullying behaviours are not tolerated. |

| In groups we painted one person from the group. We discuss all the things that were the same and the things that were different about our class. |

| We had fun with our kindy friends making monsters. |

| We learnt about what to do if we find matches or a lighter. We will always take it to an adult to put up high in a safe place. |
